Ingredients you'll need

This recipe makes approximately 2.25 kg (5 lbs.) of dog food at 1550 kcal/kg that will produce enough food for approximately 5 days of food for a 25 lbs. dog.

This recipe is nutritionally balanced for All Life Stages.

What You'll Need:

Step 1: Cook Your Proteins

In a large skillet, add ground meat. Cover and simmer gently for about 30 minutes or until meat is cooked. Once cooked, drain excess liquid and set aside to cool.

In a separate pot, add 4 cups of water and bring to a boil. Once water is boiled, add beef heart and liver, reduce heat to medium and cook for 25 - 30 minutes or until fully cooked.

**chef tip: remove excess fat from beef heart before cooking.

Step 2: Cook Vegetables

While meat is cooking, wash and chop vegetables into 1/2" pieces. Peel & cut sweet potato and russet porto into 1" pieces.

Step 4: Grind seeds

Using a food processor, grind sunflower & pumpkin seeds into powder.

Step 4: Mix together

Using a food processor, pulse meat, organs, vegetables, potatoes into smaller pieces.

To a mixing bowl, combine cooled ingredients, blueberries, seeds, cod liver oil and JUNO Nutrient Mix supplement and mix thoroughly.

Step 5: Portion and Serve

Portion food into individual serving sizes and store in freezer or refrigerator. Recipes can be store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days and 6 months in the freezer.
